How do Cannabinoids work?

Humans naturally produce cannabinoids that are involved physiological processes affecting: appetite, muscle cell learning, nerve signal pathways (synapses) etc. In the human body cannabinoids bind to receptors called CB1 and CB2. These receptors modulate the brain, the nervous system, and major organs. Cannabinoids bind to either one of the receptors. CBD, however, binds to both of them providing clinical benefits. Research indicates that increased reception of CBD stimulates the body to increase cannabinoid production levels. However, none of these statements have been approved by the FDA.
